Campbell Furlong

As an Executive Director in the Hawke’s Bay Private Business team, Campbell is passionate about helping his clients to achieve their objectives, solve their problems and realise their aspirations. He does this by investing time to build trust and understand what’s most important to his clients. Campbell believes in taking a team approach which means his clients get access to a broad range of the very best advice and service available.

Campbell’s clients span a variety of industries and range from small to large within the Hawke’s Bay private business sector where he works alongside his clients to assist them with their accounting and taxation compliance obligations as well as in an advisory capacity.

Campbell is of Ngāti Porou and Ngāi Tahu descent and is the Hawke’s Bay Māori Business Team Leader within the PwC National Manukura Māori Business team. Campbell is passionate about assisting his Māori clients – iwi, hapū and whānau – to help them achieve their goals and aspirations for today and future generations.

With a strong farm accounting background and understanding the changing world of accounting for both PwC and our clients, Campbell is positioned strongly as the Hawke’s Bay office’s Lead for our Agribusiness and Cloud Accounting Solutions strategies.

Hawke’s Bay born and bred, Campbell is focused on helping the Hawke’s Bay be the best province it can be. Outside of work, Campbell’s time is spent with his wife, Jan, and three children – twin boys and a daughter. He coaches the boys’ soccer team in the winter and cricket team in the summer. Campbell himself has played over 100 games for the Central Districts Cricket team and is now volunteering his time back to the game as a Director on the Board of Central Districts to help progress the Association forward.
